Easter activities for the family

Stuck for ideas on what to do for Easter? We got you!

Easter is not only a time to spend indulging in chocolate, but it is the perfect time to gather with family for some family fun with the little ones.

Make Easter memorable this year and get creative with some exciting Easter activities. 

Craft some sheep

Have a fun afternoon crafting sheep! If you have some empty toilet rolls and some cotton pads. Just get the tube, glue to cotton wool to them and make legs, eyes and ears out of cardboard or paper. We were inspired by this great photo from One Little Project.

Try egg decorating

Another great craft is decorating boiled eggs. If you can’t get out to the shop but have some basic stuff in, this is a great way to add some Easter spirit into your household! You could turn them into chicks, Easter bunnies or favourite fun characters! Get creative and have fun decorating the eggs.

Read Easter and spring stories

This is the perfect activity to do when spending time with the little ones. Pick your favourite Easter related books and gather the whole family round for story time.

Get outside for an egg and spoon race

This is a fun game for the whole family to get involved in. A little friendly competition in the garden and all you need to do this is some spoons and eggs. You can even use your decorated eggs.
